Fabulessly Frugal is reporting that Breyers ice cream is a part of the buy $30 worth of participating items and get a $15 catalina. It isn't listed on the ad, so that makes it a little confusing. However, Breyers is a Unilever brand and a lot of Unilever products are listed as being a part of the sale. Shoppers have confirmed this. The Breyers are buy one get one free this week, with a price of $6.39. So, here is their scenario:
Buy 10 Breyers ice cream for $31.95
Use 10 $.75 off 1 coupons from the paper -$7.50
Total out of pocket $24.45
Get $15 in catalinas to use on next purchase
After figuring in the catalina, the ice cream is $.95 apiece. If you don't have 10 coupons, then just mix and match with the other participating items in the ad.
Even if you don't have any coupons, this is a good deal on ice cream at $1.70 per carton.
One of the readers left a comment that the 5mile and Overland manager confirmed Doublers in Sunday's paper.
Update: I did this at the 5mile and Overland store last night and it worked. I bought 4 Bryers ice creams along with other participating items in the ad and the $15 catalina printed out.
